Please share a few successes and/or challenges from your efforts to fulfill your missionary purpose this past week.  I hit 6 months today!! I love Elder Uchtdorf 's talk Forget Me Nots and he says, "Our Heavenly Father is most pleased when we sacrifice something good for something far greater with an eternal perspective. Sometimes, that may even mean nurturing small but beautiful forget-me-not flowers instead of a large garden of exotic blooms." I recognize that that is exactly what I'm doing as a missionary and I LOVE it!  What is one area you can focus on this coming week to more closely follow the principles in Missionary Standards for Disciples of Jesus Christ?  Temple covenants - as temple day is quickly approaching, I want to focus more and study our tenple covenants to prepare to enter the Lord's house.  Who did you participate in exchanges with?  How did the exchange go?  Is there anything happening at home or with your family that you would like to...

HEY ALL, I'VE MADE IT SIX MONTHS, TODAY!! We visited with Ursula on Tuesday and she's def had better days. Ursula is ready to find rest and be with her son again so she's a lil depressed, as one can imagine. Anyway, we asked if she's thought about getting a blessing and she said no, but was just thrilled with the idea! She was so grateful we suggested that because she wouldn't have thought of it otherwise.  We volunteer at Care & Share every other week. So we show up at our usual time and the door was locked! So we went through the front (which I've never done before) and this sweetie walks us to the back and all the lights are off and there's no volunteers there. I guess our shift was cancelled ha, so we got to help out in this  giant  warehouse and do the recycling for them!  On Thursday we taught Charlotte the Plan of Salvation. Please share a few successes and/or challenges from your efforts to fulfill your missionary purpose this past week.  We dropped like half oir friends because we haven't been able to get in contact/teach them in months. It was difficult, but I belive we will come across more elect people to teach now.  What is one area you can focus on this coming week to more closely follow the principles in Missionary Standards for Disciples of Jesus Christ?  Priesthood Authority and Ordinances - I want to focus on this with a few of our friends and really emphasize the power the priesthood has in doing ordinances!  Who did you participate in exchanges with?  Sister Beard  How did the exchange go?  It went well! We had then on a weekly planning day, so I was a littler nervous to have to plan with so many friends I knew nothing about. Hey y'all happy Monday! Last Monday was a dream. I layed in bed all morning and just enjoyed myself before we had to get up and leave haha. But it was so relaxing, yay for p days! Tuesday was a lil rough. Idk if you can have the flu for a day, but I think I did. I was super achy and warm. During personal study I was fighting demons to stay awake, when I was done and closing with a prayer I fell asleep kneeling down at my chair lol. Wednesday I was feeling so much better and I officially hit my 1 year left mark! So weird to think I'll be at the airport and with my family in just a year! Anyway! Sister Johnson and I have been focusing  a lot  on referrals because our area is  so slow . So, we met with a member in our war and she told us to stop by her neighbor. We went over and they were so sweet! We offered them service and she seemed like she'd take us up on it!  Sister J and I have also made it our mantra to 'be in the right place at the right time' this transfer. ...

Monday was fun and lowkey. We went mini golfing and I'm surprisingly not too shabby. Tuesday we has zone conference and it was really good, wow! We talked about Alma 42 and the Plan of Salvation and then tied in Easer and the Atonement of Jesus Christ. It really put the plan of salvation into perspective for me and how intricate it is. We closed with signing I belive in Christ and I couldn't help but be tearful knowing all my Savior went through and how much love he has for each of us. Wednesday was nice and busy. We had a lesson with a friend, Jacob, and it went really well. We taught him about the plan of salvation (which was really fun to do after zone cinference). The spirit in his apartment was so strong. He said in the past he doesn't think he feels it very often so I pray he felt it there! We had dinner with a family in the ward, the Crabtree's. They are  funny . It felt like being home a lil bit. They have 6 kids and it was a bit chaotic but I loved it haha. Thu...

Please share a few successes and/or challenges from your efforts to fulfill your missionary purpose this past week.  I am so happy! I enjoy everyday! Even though our friends aren't great at keeping their commitments I just enjoy being here and helping them :)  What is one area you can focus on this coming week to more closely follow the principles in Missionary Standards for Disciples of Jesus Christ?  Exercise - I want to be better at doing different exercises that I don't do all the time  Who did you participate in exchanges with?  How did the exchange go?  Is there anything happening at home or with your family that you would like to share? Happy Easter Week! Monday was a good day talking with family! We played apples to apples at the church for a bit but it was mostly a relaxing day woohoo. I had my first Starbucks cakepop on Tuesday lol. It made me think of my mom cuz she used to make them all the time:,) We also laughed a lot today. We attempted to make videos for a Facebook friend but we could barely get through a sentence haha.  I decided I'm studying diligence this transfer and so far it's been going well! I've learned that diligence isn't  just  doing what we're supposed to, but it's also doing it with joy! I feel like my relationship with my Heavenly Father has grown stronger as I include him in my goals. Wednesday I finished my journal! It is so cool to look back at all of my experiences so far and see my progress and growth since I started the MTC 161 days ago! (Crazy ik.)
