I've noticed how much more confident I am since starting my mission, it's been really cool to see the growth and progress in myself.  What is one area you can focus on this coming week to more closely follow the principles in Missionary Standards for Disciples of Jesus Christ?  Standards for Life - I'm working on diligence this transfer and want it to become an integral part of my life.  Who did you participate in exchanges with?  How did the exchange go?  Is there anything happening at home or with your family that you would like to share? (Optional)  Is there anything else you would like to share? (Optional)  During the past month, how have you seen the hand of the Lord in your work? Being able to talk easily with people I've never met. Seeing how my confidence has gott...

HEY EVERYONE!! It's been such a good week! I've just been laughing and having the best time sharing the gospel with people!! Monday was bittersweet! After we got transfer news we signed each other's transfer journals and said goodbye. I probably won't see a few of the elders till I get home! I made it out to Sand Creek on Tuesday! I've been having lots of fun here! Everyone I've met so far has been super awesome! We had dinner at the Tolbert's house and I feel like Sister Tolbert made it very clear of why I need to he here. She recently read a book called The Glucose Revolution and it basically is a bunch of tips and tricks of how to keep your sugars down and stable.  We helped at Care & Share Wednesday morning. You pack up these boxes with food and they're given to people in need. It was really fun, it was service and just a time to chat and catch up with Sister Johnson.  We started teaching this women named Charlotte and she is VERY chatty haha. We...

It's transfers week! This was the fastest 6 weeks of my life! Time does not wait for you to catch up haha. I'll be transferred tomorrow to Sand Creek! I'm excited, nervous, and a lil sad with Craig's Baptism on Saturday. Can't believe I'm leaving my baby area.  Monday was so fun! We went to the zoo and I've finally seen a hippo, lions, bears, giraffes, elephants, and a rhino! Before I only had faith they actually existed lol. We also played cover your cookies at wing stop before wrapping up our p day. Happy birthday on Tuesday to Dallan! Miss you bud:,) We met at McDonald's today for Craig's bday celebration lunch. He loves big macs, so he was having a blast. We had our housing inspection today, so we purposefully made brownies so our apartment smell good when they got here, BUT they brought us a plate of brownies too haha. THEN for dinner we had brownies for dessert, too! I love brownies, but not that many. The time change has been rough this week. ...

Please share a few successes and/or challenges from your efforts to fulfill your missionary purpose this past week.  I've been a lot happier a&er our interview. I'm over peaved by small tapping, ticking, and buzzing sounds. I do my best to tune them out but I get really angry when I can't.  What is one area you can focus on this coming week to more closely follow the principles in Missionary Standards for Disciples of Jesus Christ?  Service - when we serve others we serve God. As I do so it will help draw me closer to him and his power.  Who did you participate in exchanges with?  How did the exchange go?  Is there anything happening at home or with your family that you would like to share? I Am Juan Emmanuel

Good morning,  let's get to it! I've decided Elders have no concept of time and planning. Lol. On Monday we had a plan but our district leader and his comps (they're a trio) didn't even show up to anything THEY planned haha, so they have been revoked from planning pday. But we did end up doing something fun halfway through the day. Poker,️ I'm so horrible at it. Tuesday was supposed to be super busy but a ton of people canceled on us. But we helped Bernadine move. Her husband was recently baptized. Their new apartment is so cute. I'm excited for them to get all moved in.  We had zone conference on Wednesday and it was all over zoom. Our mission president recently had back surgery so he's unable to sit up for long periods of time. During lunch we were given a challenge to place a book of mormon, so we went to Garden of the Gods and talked to lots of people and got lots of no's haha, but it's ok! We planted lots of lil seeds. It was also freezing that ...

Please share a few successes and/or challenges from your efforts to fulfill your missionary purpose this past week.  Craig told is he has been praying about the church and asking to know if it is true, he said he received an answer of YES!  What is one area you can focus on this coming week to more closely follow the principles in Missionary Standards for Disciples of Jesus Christ?  Stress management - this one is self explanatory haha. Just managing diabetes on top of everything else.  Who did you participate in exchanges with?  Sister Strader  How did the exchange go?  Amazing! We re taught the restoration with Craig and he just loved it. I think going over it a second time helped him understand it a lot better.  Is there anything happening at home or with your family that you would like to share? Sup, I can't believe it's already been a week, time flew this week. I forgot to mention that last week Steven was finally able to make it to church AND he blessed the sacrament for the first time WOOHOO Last week for p day we had a giant BBQ with our district, zone leaders, and assistants to the president. Then we played a bunch of basketball games and it was really fun. I also got to try strawberry dr pepper for the first time and it's pretty good. Tuesday I started the day in a horrible mood lol. I woke up to poop in the toilet and it wasn't flushing and there was toilet water ALL over the floor. So I woke up and cleaned and mopped the floor #yuck #notcool ig there was so much water that it was leaking into the floor below us so maintenance was here right away which was nice.  Wednesday was sort of uneventful. We had a few phone calls with our friends, we went to Steven's for a lesson about the plan of salvation, he's taking the temple prep class and we were i...
