Everybody Just Smile, Its A Smiley Day

Sup, I can't believe it's already been a week, time flew this week.

I forgot to mention that last week Steven was finally able to make it to church AND he blessed the sacrament for the first time WOOHOO

Last week for p day we had a giant BBQ with our district, zone leaders, and assistants to the president. Then we played a bunch of basketball games and it was really fun. I also got to try strawberry dr pepper for the first time and it's pretty good.

Tuesday I started the day in a horrible mood lol. I woke up to poop in the toilet and it wasn't flushing and there was toilet water ALL over the floor. So I woke up and cleaned and mopped the floor #yuck #notcool ig there was so much water that it was leaking into the floor below us so maintenance was here right away which was nice.

Wednesday was sort of uneventful. We had a few phone calls with our friends, we went to Steven's for a lesson about the plan of salvation, he's taking the temple prep class and we were invited to join! Later that night at Charlotte's we read from the March issue of the Liahona, and I swear this month's issue was written for her! I'm so glad she loves it and enjoys reading it:))

On Friday we had exchanges and it went so well! It was nice getting to hang around someone new for a day! But also, we ate so. much. food. today. We had breakfast as normal, but then a member, Sister Plowman, fed us lunch. We made homemade tortillas and made tacos, then we went to a bakery for a lesson, and we had dinner that night. It was a HEAVY dinner and then she made dessert, which was pie, and only cut it in 4 slices so they were massive. I thought I was gonna die I was so full haha.

Saturday I was pretty groggy. I woke up with a super high blood sugar. My pump was unclipped all night... but Saturday was slow, so it was nice I could take it kinda slow. We did attend a baptism for this guy Jeff. He's in one of the Elder's areas in our district. And it was so funny. Jeff didn't know he goes backwards to be baptized so it was kinda unorganized but it made everyone giggle. BUT THEN, that night I missed a call from my mission president and he texted me asking me to call him. I called him back later that night and he was busy so he asked to call me Sunday afternoon.

Sunday morning we went to church early to meet with Steven and the weather was so nice so we sat outside! He also got to bless the sacrament again and he bore his testimony. It was short and sweet but he told everyone to smile because it's a smiley day:,) After church we came home and I had my call with President. It was stupid. He just grilled me about my health and other things smh. Anyway that was not the kind of call I wanted on a fast Sunday while I was starving, but it's fine.

"If we spend our days waiting for fabulous roses, we could miss the beauty and wonder of the tiny forget-me-nots that are all around us." -Dieter F. Uchtdorf. Sometimes life gets really busy and we forget to notice the things (even if they're small) that make us happy each day. I challenge each of you to find one or two things every day that you look forward to and make you happy! Your week will be so much better:,)
