Imma Eat That Cake

This week went by so fast! I can't believe it's pday again. On Monday our district went ice skating, I learned how to do a lil turn. One of our elders played ice hockey for a long time, so he showed us how haha.  On Tuesday we visited with a member family and (SHHHH) we got to golf her one month old baby. She was so tiny and cute. She did spit up all over me, it just kept coming and coming, but it was still so worth it lol. That was probably my punishment for holding a baby as a missionary. And that night at dinner, we invited one of our friends we're teaching, Andrew to join so we could read a chapter of the book of mormon after we ate. He is a chiropractor and readjusted my jaw after our lesson. On Sunday I felt a tender lump in my jaw and he got rid of it and made it so it wasn't so tense, because I carry all of my stress on one side of my jaw lol. Weekly Report

Please share a few successes and/or challenges from your efforts to fulfill your missionary purpose this past week.  I memorized the first vision and have been able to teach about Joseph Smith a few times this week. The spirit that enters into people's homes as a I recite it is truly incredible.  What is one area you can focus on this coming week to more closely follow the principles in Missionary Standards for Disciples of Jesus Christ?  Physical well being - I want to be better at getting my 5 fruits or veggies each day to help me feel more healthy and happy throughout each day.  Who did you participate in exchanges with?  How did the exchange go?  Is there anything happening at home or with your family that you would like to share? (Optional)  Is there anything else you would like to share? (Optional)

Buses, Trains, And Planes

Hello everyone!! I made it to Colorado on Monday! I spent the entire day traveling. I left the mtc around 10 am, took a bus to get onto front runner, then over to tracks, then we were shuttled out of the airport to our little plane, and flew out to the Springs. I landed at about 5:30 that night. It was definitely a long day, but I am glad I got to spend it with the sisters from my mtc district.  Tuesday we dove right into things. We started teaching and visiting members. I was pretty nervous, I felt like I didn't know enough to be teaching other people. But by Sunday I felt way more confident. We stopped at a members home and shared a message about the restpration and how we can feel the spirit. I recited the first vision and the spirit in their home was incredible. There are times I'm in a friend's home (investigator) or even a member and the spirit is overwhelming. Being a missionary is so cool. You are immediately blessed with the gift of charity, I feel so much love for...
