Buses, Trains, And Planes

Hello everyone!! I made it to Colorado on Monday! I spent the entire day traveling. I left the mtc around 10 am, took a bus to get onto front runner, then over to tracks, then we were shuttled out of the airport to our little plane, and flew out to the Springs. I landed at about 5:30 that night. It was definitely a long day, but I am glad I got to spend it with the sisters from my mtc district.

Tuesday we dove right into things. We started teaching and visiting members. I was pretty nervous, I felt like I didn't know enough to be teaching other people. But by Sunday I felt way more confident. We stopped at a members home and shared a message about the restpration and how we can feel the spirit. I recited the first vision and the spirit in their home was incredible. There are times I'm in a friend's home (investigator) or even a member and the spirit is overwhelming. Being a missionary is so cool. You are immediately blessed with the gift of charity, I feel so much love for the people we are teaching and visiting.

We have been teaching a friend named Jeremey and he is on date for February 4. I am so excited for him! He has a hard time with the word of wisdom but he is super determined to be baptized. We have been praying for him and a miracle. If each of you can keep him in your prayers I know that Jeremey could use all the spiritual strength available to give up smoking and drinking and not have any temptations or urges as he tries to break those habits.

I also have to share how COLD it is here. A couple days ago it didn't get above 13⁰, I am so grateful we get to have a car!!

My new companions are awesome! I was placed in a trio with Sisters Hull and Cleverley. They are great examples to me AND they're super chill at the same time which is exactly what I needed. I'm gonna be completely honest, I was scared if get a very "letter of the law" trainer and be super annoyed, but they teach and guide me so well. I have truly been blessed with awesome trainers.

This week with it being Thanksgiving, I challenge each of you to be thankful and show your gratitude to others, I know that as you do this you will be blessed with happiness and be able to see the things you may take for granted.
