Imma Eat That Cake

This week went by so fast! I can't believe it's pday again. On Monday our district went ice skating, I learned how to do a lil turn. One of our elders played ice hockey for a long time, so he showed us how haha.

On Tuesday we visited with a member family and (SHHHH) we got to golf her one month old baby. She was so tiny and cute. She did spit up all over me, it just kept coming and coming, but it was still so worth it lol. That was probably my punishment for holding a baby as a missionary. And that night at dinner, we invited one of our friends we're teaching, Andrew to join so we could read a chapter of the book of mormon after we ate. He is a chiropractor and readjusted my jaw after our lesson. On Sunday I felt a tender lump in my jaw and he got rid of it and made it so it wasn't so tense, because I carry all of my stress on one side of my jaw lol. It felt so weird for the rest if the night, but that little lump hasn't come back, so it must've worked.

For Thanskgiving we had TWO dinners, I've felt full since Thursday from the amount of food I ate.  Our first one was at a family friend's house of Sister Hull. The food was all incredible. Then we ate our second dinner at a members house. She did an untraditional thanksgiving because a turkey doesn't fit in her oven haha.
Sister Cleverley made a cake to take to each of our dinners and so when we got home I had an u trustee thought to just take a bite out of it so that's exactly what I did to top off all the food I ate that day.

Saturday was probably my favorite day this week. It felt so successful and was filled with the spirit. We met with our friends Nuno and Kayan. Nuno seems very interested and expressed his love of the Mormon missionaries. He said that if Jesus Christ were to be walking the earth today, he thinks that He would be just like the Mormons haha. We taught him the restoration and he wants to learn more about Joseph Smith, I'm excited to meet with him and his son again.

Jeremy is still working super hard to quit smoking and drinking. Please continue to lay for him to be strengthened through the lord to break those habits!
Saturday night we played skull king (my FAVORITE card game) at a members house. She is like our mission grandma. She is so sweet and always give us treats and hot apple cider. I love being in a home away from home :)

Sunday, me and my companions got to speak in sacrament meeting, it went very well, someone cried while I spoke, so that's a win in my book HAHA. I spoke about repentance and challenged everyone to make repenting daily one of their new year resolutions, and I challenge each of you to do the same! Love you all. Have a good week <3
