Teardrops On My Guitar - T Swift

On Monday I hit 6 months as a missionary so we went out and celebrated! We went and got sushi and froyo for lunch and then ended the night at a members house for dinner, the Crabtree's. Our sushi plates had a little flower on them so I told Sister Johnson they were edible and she didn't believe me. So I dipped it in some terriaki sauce and took a bite and she did too. Then when the lady came to take our plates she told us to keep the flower because it was fresh. I felt so bad for eating it haha.

Tuesday was super gloomy and cold. I woke up so cold! For comp study we went to kneaders and the fire was on:') a nice lil tender mercy awe. We also had a really good lesson with our friend Leo. We taught him about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I think he's starting to grasp the feeling of the spirit more!

Wednesday was gloomy again! So we went to warm kneaders for comp study.
Our dinner cancelled because they were sick so she gave us some cash for Chipotle, sis J and I both love Chipotle so that was nice!
We also had this lesson with a family in our ward and it was so awkward! They sat around the table and ate dinner while we shared a message with them!

Thursday was busy and the sun came back out! We helped at the Bishop Storehouse and then came home for a quick lunch because I had to go get labwork done today!
We had dinner at the Tolberts and I was telling them about my test I had to get done and her husband said the nicest prayer that my results will be good. When he prayed the spirit just filled their home, it was so cool!

Friday we had a really cool lesson with Tonya. She was baptized in 2010 but went inactive pretty soon after. She still has a really strong testimony though! Anyway, when we got there she kept saying over and over how she wanted to ask us about something but couldn't remember what it was. So, when we shared our message, we told her we wanted to talk about temples and she was like "oh my gosh that's what is was!!" She loved all the things we can do in the temple! It's cool the way the spirit talks to us so we know what to share with each of the people that we see and teach.

Saturday I woke up and decided it was the day I'd do a one armed push up. It didn't go very well. I can't do it lol. But, on the bright side we went to this member referrals house, Peter. We had been before but they never answered. So when we went today they opened the door! They politely declined a message and seemed a little unthrilled that we were "Mormons" but they gave us a referral and some PURPLE Filipino bread filled with cheese. It was delicious!

Sunday wasn't too crazy, but President called and asked Sister J to be an STL and I'm getting a new comp, Sister Little. We both definitely did not cry about it. I hate the end of a good era but I'm excited for Sister J and to get to know Sister Little. :')

This week I encourage each of you to visit your ministering sisters/brothers! It is so important that you visit and love these people! Happy Monday y'all <3
