Another great week has come and gone!
Our district walked around Manitou Springs again, Monday, in the -3⁰ weather lol, it was freezing, but fun!
Tuesday Sister Hull and I went to Sister Plowman's house and made tortillas with her and then ate casadilllas with her. After lunch we headed to the doctors. I needed some blood work but I was so dehydrated nothing would draw so I was sent away with no labs taken lol. He poked both arms to make sure that's what was going on, but one of my arms is super bruised!
Wednesday we met with Craig again and put him on date for March 4!! He's trying so hard to quit coffee, so keep him in your prayers. He drinks 4 POTS a day, so he needs all the prayers he can get. Anyway, I started the morning drinking tons of water to ensure they could draw my blood today, luckily when I went back it worked and I've been really good about drinking water since!
Celebrated my birthday here in Colorado!! I am so appreciative of the ward members and our friends who made me feel loved and celebrated me <3 I got to call my family which was awesome and then Steven, a recent convert, took us to Chipotle for lunch. The Apodaca's fed us dinner and made me birthday brownies. I love this ward!
Friday was an interesting morning, we had a mission wide meeting where we learned anyone still serving here after may, there mission has been extended by a week, which I guess I've been waiting for lol. My last day prosiliting was supposed to be April 1, so I knew it would change due to April fools day smh.
The Scott's invited us and our friends Nuno and Kayan to dinner!! It went super well! We taught Nuno about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and invited him to be baptized. He's open to it and will definitely get there one day, but he says he's not ready yet. Some other members in the ward have also invited him and his son to dinner, it's amazing!
JEREMY WAS BAPTIZED!! It's been a long time coming! But I am so proud of his decision and seeing how the gospel has made him more confident and happy.
Transfers are on Tuesday and Sister Hull will be going home, so I'll be getting a new companion. Pray we get along lol.
"To all who are brokenhearted, captive, bruised, and perhaps blinded by hurt or sin, He offers healing, recovery, and deliverance. I testify that that healing and recovery He offers is real. The timing of that healing is individual, and we cannot judge another’s timing. It is important to allow ourselves the necessary time to heal and to be kind to ourselves in the process. The Savior is ever merciful and attentive and stands ready to provide the succor we need."
