Masculine Ice Cream

Yay for Monday! It's been a long week ha.

We played volleyball on Monday last week, and I'm horrible at it hahah, but I'm always happy to be there and play lol. My teammates may disagree but it's fine. For dinner we ate at a members house and she made Indian food (which I've never had before) and it was delicious.

I've decided Valentines Day is way more fun as a missionary because I don't have to worry about men️ just Jesus HAHA. Today was also really good because we saw Charlotte for the first time in weeks! She's been really sick, but is feeling better now. She's thee sweetest and I'm glad we got to see her!

Wednesday we were parked the entire day (we weren't aloud to drive), which was rough because we don't even live in our zone so we couldn't just walk. Plus there was like 7 inches of snow so walking woulda sucked. But it worked out cuz it was my mom's bday!! So I got to call her and we were able to talk for a while since we didn't have much going on. But it also made us a lil crazy and made it so we just talked about a lot of random stuff. Sis. Strain is a writer and was working on a book... but out of the blue she asked me what an attractive ice cream flavor is for a dude to order. I was like, "what did you just ask me?" I wasn't sure how to answer so hopefully she came up with something good ha. But when I get bored or stressed I clean, so I cleaned the kitchen and a messy closet in our apartment! So still a pretty productive day!

We were parked for majority of the day Thursday, too! It was horrible. I hate being "locked up" that long. I was going kinda crazy, especially because the roads were cleared so we would have been fine to drive! But by 2:30 we could, so we went straight to the mission office and got a new car! It's a 2023 Nisson Rogue, it's a pretty boujee mom car.

We went on a hike with Andrew today! And the weather was beautiful! After our snow storms, 30⁰ feels like 60⁰! But we talked about the 5 things to not forget from the talk "Forget Me Not" and he loved it! I love sharing the gospel in God's creations:,) later Saturday evening, we did some stop bys. We stopped at this Indian family's home, but only the grandma, Bala, was home. She doesn't speak English but still invited us in, so it was really awk and difficult to share a message with her since we couldn't understand each other haha. She was sweet though!

Sunday was awesome. We went to church and it was a really nice service! Then a returning family, the Hansen's, invited us to their son's priesthood ordination! He is now a priest! I'm honored to have been there and so proud of his decision to receive the priesthood! I also got to take a long nap today! (Sunday naps are my all time fav.) Then we were fed two dinners as well and they were both really yummy!
