Jesus Has Been Stolen

My goal this week has been to look forward to each day and not to get ahead of myself and it's been easy this week!

Monday we had a huge BBQ with our district. Some Elders had a bunch of meet (sirloin steak, bison, lambs, pork, ribs) so we ate really well that day! To end the night we had dinner at the bishop's house, we had beef stew so we were soo full, I had a lil food baby. Sis Hull and I named her LaFonda.

The next morning was a little too exciting. I'm a cave man zombie in the morning and not really functional till at least 7. BUT, our alarm went off at 6:30 and I started to pray, but at 6:31 we got a call from some sisters who needed us to pick them up from Firestone to take them to their zone conference while there car is in the shop. But before we even left, our downstairs neighbor started whacking a hammer or something all over our ceiling, so I gave em a lil stomp, like "hey you're being loud, stop that" but it made them mad and they came up and pounded on our door and then stole our picture of Jesus we keep out there, #nobueno.
Later we got to go downtown to meet with our friend Bryce and get Boba. It was yummy and u move downtown, so it was a win win. We talked about the restoration proclamation and he loves how well spoken the prophets and apostles are.
We met this guy named Justen, he's a member in an assisted living home and he's only 23. He was in a serious car accident and has traumatic brain injury and was left nonverbal after the incident. He communicates with a piece of paper with the alphabet ok it and spells everything out. He's super awesome, I'm glad I got to meet him.
Ended Tuesday at Nuno and Kayan's house. We taught then the plan of salvation and they loved it. Nuno was able to make to it chuch but Kayan was at his mom's house so he didn't make it this week, but they are so awesome too!

Wednesday we had zone conference and after interviews last week, President and I are basically besties so he called on me to speak in the conference ha, I knew he was gonna do that! Luckily it was just a 2 minute talk about the restoration, so nothing too crazy.

Sis Hull is making me trunky lowkey since she goes home in 14 days!! So I've made little goal/reminders of things to look forward to everyday and it had helped a lot. I'm focused on each day at hand instead of focusing on the finish line.

This week we can work on prayer together. I challenge each of you to let Heavenly Father help you with whatever you are going through. This week has had some really good days and some really hard ones too, but I want to focus on relying on the Lord, and let him help me with the challenges I face, I hope each of you will do so too!

Say your prayers and read your scriptures.
