I Want To Go To There

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope everybody had a fun time celebrating and stayed safe!

I've been in Colorado for 7 weeks and have been a missionary for 70 days!! Time has flown by.

This week has been really hard for me. It was transfers, so it was hard to say bye to people on my district but also to see missionaries going home and being with their families. AND it was rough being away for Christmas knowing my family was all together, but I know being a missionary is blessing mine and my family's lives. It also blesses each of my friends and brings then closer to Christ. It's hard, but so worth it.

This week we had a lot of our friends cancel our teaching appointments because of the holidays so it was difficult to stay productive, but there was one day we were doing stop bys and we knocked at a man named Troy's house. We haven't been able to really contact him much because he didn't seem very interested, but he was super awesome when he answered the door. He told us about how he was working on the transmission of his car and he forgot to but the E brake on. He was lying on his coat whilenjnder the car, but his truck started to roll and picked up his coat and dragged him. The coat wrapped around his throat and was choking him. He said he hollered and shouted for about 20 minutes before someone came and helped. He said he was about ready to give up, it was awesome when he told us that he knew God kept him here because he needs to make a change I'm his life. I believe that's why we were on his doorstep that day. I hope we can start teaching him soon. He said he'd come to church yesterday but he ended up not making it. Hopefully next week.
