I Look Like A Recovered Meth Addict?
For pday last week, we went to garden of the gods and walked around all the red rocks. It made me think of home:)
When we met with one of our friends, Charlotte, the spirit was so strong. We called her, because she's been sick, but she's on the fence about baptism because she's catholic and her baptism into that church was traumatic and forced, so she's worried about doing it again. But when we called her, the spirit was so strong, I told her that'd we'd wait until she's ready, because she's our friend first, and friends have each other's backs. Then a few days later we called her again and I prayed that she would be able to find answers to her questions through prayer and reading the scriptures. She said it was crazy I said that because 30 min prior she was talking about that with her friend. She said that proves to her that the church is true but she's still nervous. Later in the week, I finally got to meet Charlotte in person! She is so cool. We had a brother in the ward give her a priesthood blessing, and she was crying afterwords because the spirit in her home was so overwhelming. I cried as well. I pray everyday that she will decide to be baptized!
The week was pretty chill and slow, but still FLEW by. I swear I'm in hyperspeed or something.
We visit a part member family every week and their daughter wanted to prank me so bad that she was a meth addict so I planned to prank her back and tell her I've been clean for two years and she believed me, even though I laughed the entire time. But the worst part is she told her patents because she felt so bad, she thought I was actually a recovered addict and felt bad for joking about it. But then I was embarrassed for making that joke and the fact she told her parents HAHA. But we're buds now because of it, and her parents are awesome so it's fine.
Last thing. Sister Cleverley got get flight plans for New Zealand and will be leaving next Monday, I'm so excited for her and so sad at the same time. The only upside is I get to drive now!! Sister Hull has narcolepsy so she doesn't drive. Normally I have to finish training first but I'm an exception (thank goodness because I miss driving).
I also want to let everyone know, I can only use Facebook messenger with family, so if you're wanting to stay in touch it'll have to be over email.
